The 12 Days of Study Abroad Christmas

Collins - 5-Banner

Let’s face it; there are some of us students who have it, some who wished they did, and some that are working towards it. No matter where you fall in these three categories, give yourself the gift of study abroad! In spirit of finals week and the ever present Winter break, I have decided to make some much needed changes to a Christmas song.

On the first day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

An experience I’ll remember until I’m eighty

On the second day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Two days of travel

On the third day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Three nights on Long Street

On the fourth day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Four meals at Obz Cafe

On the fifth day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Five Pan au Chocolat’s in the morning

On the sixth day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Six lions at Aquila Game Reserve

On the seventh day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Seven friends for abseiling

On the 8th day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Eight hours visiting agencies

On the 9th day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Nine howzits?

On the 10th day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Ten official languages

On the 11th day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Eleven partners in crime

On the 12th day of Christmas, South Africa gave to me:

Twelve lbs. of meat at Mzoli’s

On the twelve days of Christmas South Africa gave to me:

12 lbs of meat at Mzoli’s

11 partners in crime

10 official languages

9 “howzits?”

8 hours visiting agencies

7 friends for abseiling

6 lions at Aquila Game Reserve

5 Pan au Chocolat’s in the morning

4 meals at Obz Cafe

3 nights on Long Street

2 days of travel

and an experience I’ll remember when I’m eighty.

Thank you to everyone who has followed me and supported Enkompass this semester! Merry (almost) Christmas, friends!

Lots of Love,
Harlie
